About My Work
As Assessor for the Town of Islesboro, I wear a number of different hats. I am responsible for maintaining and updating the town property records kept at the Town Office. I also file a number of state required reports such as the municipal valuation return, Maine Forest Service tree growth report, annual sales-ratio study, and the homestead reimbursement form. Other duties include preparing the annual tax commitment, establishing just valuations, and maintaining the town’s GIS (Geographic Information Systems) database.
