About Our Work
We process Land Use and Development Review applications, as well as draft changes to these ordinances for adoption by the town at either special or regular Town Meetings. We also work closely with the Comprehensive Planning Committee to implement ordinance changes that are in line with the Comprehensive Plan.
The Planning Board meets twice a month on Monday evenings at 6:15 P.M. at the Town Office.
Forms must be printed out and filled out manually. Electronic submission of forms and registrations will be disregarded. Please submit 8 copies and one original of your application to the Planning Board.
We have proposed changes to the Land Use Ordinance to create the Town Centers District.

When is the submission deadline for an application to appear on the agenda of the next Planning Board meeting?
There are two different deadlines. For a Land Use Application the deadline is 4:30 P.M. the Tuesday before the next Monday’s meeting. For a Development Review Application the deadline is 4:30 P.M. the Monday one week before the next scheduled meeting.

You can contact Bill Boardman, who is available for stop-in hours at the Town office on Tuesday afternoons from 12:30 P.M. – 4:30 P.M., or Peggy Pike, the Secretary to the Planning Board, for all questions concerning applications.
